- • As a Senior Financial Analyst on the Global Payroll team at Cohere Inc., you will play a critical role in scaling financial intelligence to support the company’s mission of advancing AI for developers and enterprises. Your work will directly impact financial planning, analysis, and operational efficiency across global teams, ensuring accurate forecasting and strategic alignment with business goals.
- • Day to day, you will develop dynamic financial models to assess performance across payroll and non-labor expenses (S&M, R&D, G&A), build and maintain department-level budgets and company-wide forecasts, prepare monthly reporting packages with variance analysis, and collaborate cross-functionally with Strategy, Business Operations, and Engineering teams to drive financial insights and process improvements.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, or related quantitative field; MBA, CFA, or CPA is a plus
- • 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A with emphasis on global payroll and resource management and month-end operations
- • Expert level Excel/Google Sheets financial modeling skills; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)
- • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- • Proven ability to drive process improvement, streamline operations, and influence stakeholders in fast-paced environments
