- • Design, build, and ship full-stack features end-to-end for patient-facing and clinician-facing products using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- • Implement backend services in TypeScript/Node.js that comply with data residency and regulatory standards for clinical-grade reliability.
- • Develop React user interfaces for both patients and clinicians, ensuring strong user experience and accessibility in a mental health context.
- • Model and manage application data using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and other database systems while adhering to regulatory compliance best practices.
- • Integrate product features with AI/ML services and safety guardrails to support responsible deployment of mental health AI.
- • Treat security, data residency, and compliance as first-class concerns due to handling of sensitive patient and clinical data.
- • Collaborate within cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of features into the product lifecycle.
- • Participate in code reviews and contribute to establishing and maintaining engineering standards across the team.
- • Triage and respond to system alerts as part of collaborative error monitoring and incident response.
- • Engage in periodic "SideQuest" hackathon days to explore innovative solutions and prototype new ideas.
- • Work within a regulated environment handling healthcare data, ensuring all systems meet required compliance frameworks.
- • Translate platform capabilities into intuitive, reliable products that patients and clinicians depend on daily.
- • Support the expansion of Limbic’s operations into the US market by building scalable, compliant product surfaces.
- • Maintain proficiency in Git for version control and collaborate using CI/CD pipelines powered by GitHub Actions.
- • Work with AWS services in production environments to deploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure.
- • Utilize queue-based systems such as BullMQ with Redis for asynchronous task handling where applicable.
- • Contribute to a culture of inclusivity and psychological safety, supporting diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
- • Balance remote work with occasional in-office collaboration at the London (Spitalfields) office, as required.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience
- • Availability during standard business hours across Europe (UTC to UTC+3)
- • Ability to work from London (Spitalfields) office 1-day per week is preferred
- • Limbic cannot provide visa sponsorship
- • Strong TypeScript and Node.js ability (GraphQL and tRPC familiarity preferred)
- • Solid React experience building production web applications
