Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Architect and deliver end-to-end features that directly shape how thousands of students learn every day. You’ll own the full lifecycle—from whiteboard sketches and user-story refinement through production deployment and post-launch iteration—ensuring our learning platform stays fast, reliable, and delightful.
- • Build and evolve scalable web applications using modern C# (.NET 6+) on the back end and Vue.js 3 on the front end. You’ll design RESTful and GraphQL APIs, craft reactive UIs, and optimize database queries so that pages load in milliseconds even during peak classroom hours.
- • Champion clean, testable, and maintainable code. Expect to write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests that run in our CI pipeline on every pull request. You’ll enforce SOLID principles, domain-driven design, and pragmatic patterns that let new engineers ramp up quickly without fear of breaking things.
- • Lead complex technical initiatives such as migrating legacy services to a micro-service architecture, implementing blue-green or canary rollouts, or introducing event-driven patterns for real-time collaboration tools. You’ll weigh trade-offs, document decisions in ADRs, and socialize the plan across product, QA, and DevOps.
- • Mentor and level-up junior and mid-level engineers through pair programming, architecture reviews, and weekly knowledge-sharing sessions. Your feedback in pull requests will be celebrated for being both kind and rigorous, turning every code review into a mini-masterclass.
- • Collaborate daily with product managers, UX designers, curriculum experts, and data analysts in a fully remote, async-first environment. You’ll refine user stories, estimate effort, and slice work so that we ship value every week instead of every quarter.
- • Continuously improve our engineering culture. Whether it’s introducing a new lint rule, automating a tedious manual step, or running a blameless post-mortem, you’ll treat process debt as seriously as technical debt.
- • Monitor, measure, and optimize. You’ll add observability (OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Sentry) to features you ship, set SLOs, and respond to alerts with calm precision. When something breaks at 2 p.m. CET, you’ll be the engineer others trust to fix it without drama.
- • Contribute to security and compliance. You’ll perform threat modeling, dependency scanning, and secure-coding reviews so that student data stays private and our platform stays compliant with GDPR and COPPA.
- • Stay curious. We set aside 10 % of your time for experimentation—whether that’s prototyping AI-driven feedback engines, exploring edge-rendering with Cloudflare Workers, or simply reading the latest ECMAScript spec so the team can debate it over Slack coffee chats.
