📋 Description
- • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using NestJS for a SaaS healthcare platform used by medical professionals
- • Architect APIs, caching layers, and distributed systems using Redis, RabbitMQ, or equivalent queuing technologies to ensure high-performance SaaS applications
- • Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems via REST APIs; SOAP experience is a plus
- • Collaborate closely with frontend and product teams to deliver end-to-end features from design through production
- • Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability across the entire platform
- • Contribute to engineering best practices, code quality standards, and technical architecture decisions
- • Leverage AI-assisted development workflows using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar to accelerate implementation, testing, and debugging
- • Take full ownership of features from concept to deployment in a fast-moving, remote-first startup environment
- • Work with TypeORM for data modeling and database interactions in a Node.js environment
- • Utilize Next.js and Tailwind CSS to support frontend development and ensure seamless integration with backend services
- • Implement asynchronous architectures to handle high-volume, real-time data flows in a MedTech SaaS context
- • Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and system design discussions with a globally distributed engineering team
- • Apply AI as a force multiplier for software quality and productivity, not merely as an autocomplete tool, during all phases of development
- • Maintain high code quality while rapidly iterating in a product-focused environment that prioritizes reliability and security
- • Engage in continuous improvement of engineering workflows, including adoption of AI-driven development practices across the team
- • Support the scaling of platform integrations and security requirements as the user base and feature set grow
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience building production SaaS applications
- • Strong expertise with NestJS (mandatory)
- • Experience with Redis, caching strategies, and queuing systems such as RabbitMQ or equivalent
- • Strong experience with TypeORM
- • Good knowledge of Next.js and Tailwind CSS
- • Proven experience designing and integrating REST APIs
- • Fluent English with strong communication skills
- • Ability to effectively use AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar (MUST)
- • Ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
