📋 Description

  • As a Senior Global Account Manager (SGAM) at Iron Mountain, you will be at the forefront of driving growth within our strategic Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) business, focusing on key Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) accounts.
  • This pivotal role demands a strategic, relationship-driven, and technically adept professional who can build, manage, and expand a critical customer relationship, acting as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Your core responsibility will be to deeply understand customer challenges, particularly those related to significant transitions like AI rack builds and factory outsourcing initiatives, and translate these needs into actionable plans and innovative ALM solutions.
  • You will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive strategic account plans designed to increase market share and revenue within your assigned global accounts.
  • A key aspect of the role involves leading the complex process of managing returned enterprise hardware products, ensuring their efficient collection, meticulous repair, thorough refurbishment, and rigorous testing before reintegration into the customer's supply chain, thereby maximizing value and operational efficiency.
  • You will serve as the central hub for customer engagement, fostering strong, long-term partnerships built on trust and a deep understanding of their business objectives and operational pain points.
  • Collaboration is key; you will work closely with internal sales teams, subject matter experts, and the broader Global ALM team to ensure cohesive go-to-market strategies and seamless execution of services.
  • Meticulous pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and unwavering accountability for achieving quota and financial objectives are paramount to success in this role.
  • You will be empowered to resolve significant operational and contractual issues, working cross-functionally with customer service and logistics teams to guarantee exceptional customer satisfaction and foster long-term retention.
  • Acting as a crucial liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, you will interpret complex customer challenges and articulate how Iron Mountain's scalable service offerings can provide effective solutions.
  • A proactive approach to new business development is essential, requiring you to actively hunt for and identify fresh opportunities within your existing accounts and potentially adjacent areas.
  • You will contribute thought leadership by staying abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and evolving customer needs, ensuring that Iron Mountain's ALM strategies remain relevant and competitive.
  • This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of ALM services by identifying and championing innovative solutions that address the dynamic landscape of enterprise hardware management and the circular economy.
  • You will be responsible for understanding the intricacies of the hardware lifecycle, from initial deployment to end-of-life management, and communicating the value proposition of Iron Mountain's comprehensive services.
  • Success will be measured by your ability to not only retain and grow existing business but also to identify and penetrate new areas within the account, demonstrating a clear ROI for the customer and Iron Mountain.
  • You will navigate complex organizational structures within global enterprises, building consensus and influencing stakeholders at various levels to drive strategic initiatives forward.
  • The ability to operate independently while also leading and inspiring a dedicated team, as the business grows, will be a critical factor in your effectiveness.
  • Ultimately, you will be the champion for your global accounts, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded, solidifying Iron Mountain's position as a strategic partner in their asset lifecycle management journey.
