  • • As a Senior GTM Recruiter at Promise Holdings, Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the growth of our Go-To-Market teams, including Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success. This role is pivotal in attracting and securing top-tier talent that drives our mission to modernize how government agencies and utilities support individuals in financial difficulty. You will own the entire recruitment lifecycle, from initial candidate engagement through to offer acceptance, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for all.
  • • You will act as a strategic partner to GTM leaders, the Head of Talent, and the Head of People. Your primary responsibility will be to deeply understand the nuances of each role, define what exceptional performance looks like, and identify candidates who possess the unique skills and drive to excel at Promise. This involves moving beyond traditional sourcing methods to find individuals who may not be actively seeking new opportunities but would be a perfect fit for our innovative environment.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves building and refining our recruiting infrastructure. This includes developing sophisticated sourcing workflows, enhancing the candidate experience to reflect our company's high standards, and empowering hiring managers with the tools and knowledge to participate effectively in the hiring process. The goal is to enable scalable growth without compromising the precision and quality of our hires.

  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include running clear, high-quality hiring processes for critical GTM functions such as Pre-Sales, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success. This requires meticulous planning and execution from the initial hiring brief to the final offer.
  • • You will collaborate closely with hiring managers from the outset to establish a shared understanding of role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and effective sourcing channels. This partnership is key to ensuring alignment and successful outcomes.
  • • A core tenet of this role is to move with speed and efficiency without sacrificing quality. You will be responsible for maintaining candidate momentum and ensuring the recruitment process consistently reflects Promise's commitment to being a serious and desirable employer.
  • • You will own the offer process, including conducting compensation benchmarking, structuring competitive offers, and managing negotiations. This will be done in close partnership with the Head of Talent and the People team to ensure alignment with company compensation philosophy and market competitiveness.
  • • Developing and implementing targeted sourcing strategies for each specific role will be crucial. This involves identifying the right companies, understanding diverse career trajectories, and recognizing signals that predict success within Promise's unique culture and business model.
  • • Crafting personalized and compelling outreach messages is essential to capture the attention of passive candidates. Your communication should be specific, engaging, and articulate the unique value proposition of working at Promise, compelling individuals to consider a move even if they are currently satisfied in their roles.
  • • You will be tasked with building and nurturing talent pipelines for recurring GTM roles. This proactive approach ensures that we have a ready pool of qualified candidates, minimizing the time it takes to fill open positions.
  • • Leveraging our existing tool stack, you will build scalable sourcing workflows that balance speed with uncompromising quality. This includes optimizing the use of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment technology.
  • • Maintaining high data hygiene within Ashby (our ATS) is critical for accurate pipeline visibility. This ensures that leadership can rely on the data for strategic decision-making and forecasting.
  • • As a genuine ambassador for Promise's mission, you will articulate why our work is important, what makes it challenging yet meaningful, and provide an authentic picture of our team and culture. This requires a deep understanding and passion for our impact.
  • • You will ensure that every candidate, whether hired or not, receives a positive and informative experience, leaving them with a clear and favorable impression of Promise.
  • • You will collaborate with the People team and leadership on employer brand initiatives. This includes contributing to talent community building and representing Promise at key professional networks within the GovTech, utilities, and civic tech sectors.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 4 years focused on Go-To-Market (GTM) roles within enterprise software or regulated industries.
  • • Proven ability to source and successfully close passive candidates for senior, hard-to-fill positions, demonstrating expertise beyond managing inbound pipelines.
  • • Demonstrated ability to understand and adapt to a dynamic and atypical business environment where strategies may shift, requiring agility and continuous learning.
  • • Hands-on experience with modern recruiting technology stack, including an ATS (Ashby experience is a plus) and sourcing automation tools such as Gem or Clay.
  • • Strong hiring manager partnership skills, including the ability to effectively push back on unclear briefs and build trust through direct communication and consistent delivery.
  • • Exceptional written communication skills, evidenced by clear, specific, and engaging outreach messages, job descriptions, and candidate-facing materials.
  • • Comfort and proven success operating in a lean, high-ownership environment where process development and execution occur concurrently.
