📋 Description

• As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Handshake Technologies, Inc., you will play a critical role in shaping how careers evolve in the AI economy by supporting the Sales, Marketing, and Education teams across Handshake’s Careers and Handshake AI business units. Your work will directly impact the company’s ability to scale culture, processes, and people programs during a period of rapid growth, including tripling ARR in 2025.
• Day to day, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers on performance, growth, engagement, and team dynamics; support leaders in building high-performing, inclusive teams using data-driven insights; drive execution of core HR processes like performance management, compensation, promotions, and headcount planning; collaborate with People Ops, Recruiting, and Total Rewards on onboarding and development; and help design and manage in-person programs and events to strengthen employee experience.
• You will join a team with leadership from Scale AI, Meta, xAI, Notion, Coinbase, and Palantir, working alongside world-class AI labs, Fortune 500 partners, and top educational institutions. • In this role, you will develop leadership bench strength across Sales, Marketing, and EDU; refine and scale people programs and systems; gain deep experience in HRBP functions within a high-growth tech environment; and strengthen your ability to balance people and business needs amid ambiguity and shifting priorities — preparing you for broader HR leadership roles.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of HR experience, ideally in a tech or growth-stage environment
• Strong foundation in core HRBP functions including employee relations, performance management, organizational changes, communications planning, and manager coaching
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and shifting priorities with rapidly changing business needs
• Clear, empathetic communication skills and an instinct for balancing people and business needs
• Strong independent judgment to make sound decisions for both team and business the majority of the time
• Collaborative working style with enjoyment of partnering across cross-functional teams
