Full Job Description
š Description
- ⢠Casium is at the forefront of revolutionizing business immigration, creating the fastest and most comprehensive solution by merging human expertise with AI innovation. Our mission is to empower companies to secure top global talent with unparalleled speed, clarity, and unwavering compliance. In a world where talent knows no borders, the traditional immigration system often falls short, creating lengthy delays for founders, causing engineers to lose job offers, and overwhelming HR teams with complex paperwork. Casium is fundamentally rebuilding this process from the ground up, leveraging cutting-edge AI, advanced automation, and expert legal oversight to make visa applications as seamless as accepting a job offer.
- ⢠This role is for a Senior Immigration Specialist who will join our core case operations team. It offers a unique opportunity to begin with hands-on immigration casework and evolve into a pivotal role influencing operations, customer experience, and product development. You will not only be responsible for executing immigration cases but also for actively shaping the future of how immigration work is performed at Casium. This cross-functional position demands close collaboration with attorneys, founders, and product teams to ensure our proprietary tools, intricate workflows, and sophisticated automation deliver superior legal outcomes and an exceptional customer experience.
- ⢠This is a high-ownership role, meticulously designed for individuals aspiring to grow beyond traditional paralegal responsibilities and ascend into leadership positions within operations, customer success, or legal operations. The Senior Immigration Specialist will be instrumental in driving efficiency, enhancing client satisfaction, and contributing to the strategic growth of Casium.
- ⢠Key responsibilities will encompass comprehensive immigration case management. This includes preparing and meticulously managing employment-based immigration cases from initiation to completion, covering a wide spectrum of visa types such as L-1s, H-1Bs, PERM-based cases, EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, and O-1A petitions. You will be tasked with drafting, organizing, and rigorously quality-checking all petition materials, evidence packets, and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness at every stage.
- ⢠Precision in tracking timelines, critical milestones, and deadlines is paramount. The role requires applying sound legal judgment to case assessments and knowing when to escalate complex legal questions to senior attorneys. This ensures that all cases are handled with the utmost diligence and adherence to legal standards.
- ⢠Beyond direct casework, a significant aspect of this role involves product thinking and providing crucial input into our tooling. You will be expected to identify recurring patterns, systemic bottlenecks, and potential failure points within our existing immigration workflows. This insight will be translated into structured, actionable feedback for our product and engineering teams, focusing on areas such as intake flows, document generation and review processes, evidence organization strategies, and case tracking mechanisms.
- ⢠A key contribution will be helping to validate whether our automation and tooling initiatives are genuinely enhancing legal quality, not just accelerating processes. You will actively participate in testing new technologies and product features, providing essential user feedback to refine and optimize our offerings.
- ⢠In terms of customer experience, you will serve as a primary, trusted point of contact for clients throughout their entire immigration journey. This involves communicating complex legal concepts with exceptional clarity, empathy, and patience. A critical function is proactively identifying and surfacing potential risks, gaps, or impending delays, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve these issues swiftly and effectively.
- ⢠The role also extends to operations and systems building. You will be responsible for creating and continuously improving essential operational resources, including detailed playbooks, standardized templates, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and comprehensive quality checklists. The goal is to transform ad-hoc solutions into robust, repeatable systems that ensure consistency and efficiency across all casework.
- ⢠As the team expands, you will play a vital role in supporting the onboarding and training of new hires, sharing your expertise and best practices. Over time, you will have the opportunity to take direct ownership of specific workflows, acting as the Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to ensure their ongoing success and optimization. This position offers a unique blend of detailed legal work, strategic operational input, and direct impact on customer success, making it an ideal launchpad for a career in legal tech and operations.
