š Description
- ⢠As a Senior Immigration Specialist at Casium, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing the business immigration landscape. Casium is dedicated to building the fastest, most comprehensive business immigration solution by harmonizing human expertise with cutting-edge AI innovation. Our mission is to empower companies to secure top global talent with unparalleled speed, clarity, and unwavering compliance. We recognize that while talent is global, the traditional immigration system was not designed for the pace, transparency, or scale required by today's dynamic businesses. Founders face lengthy delays before launching their ventures, engineers miss critical job opportunities due to visa backlogs, and HR teams are often overwhelmed by the complexities of compliance paperwork. Casium is fundamentally rebuilding this process from the ground up, leveraging AI, automation, and expert legal oversight to make visa filings as straightforward as accepting a job offer.
- ⢠This role is designed for an individual who seeks to move beyond traditional casework and contribute significantly to operations, customer experience, and product development. You will not only be responsible for executing complex immigration cases but will also play a pivotal role in shaping the future of how immigration work is performed at Casium. Collaborating closely with attorneys, founders, and product teams, you will ensure that our proprietary tools, optimized workflows, and advanced automation translate into superior legal outcomes and an exceptional customer journey. This is a high-ownership position, ideal for someone aspiring to grow into operations leadership, customer success management, or legal operations.
- ⢠Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of critical functions:
- ⢠**Immigration Case Work:** You will meticulously prepare and manage highly skilled U.S. immigration cases from initiation to completion, with a primary focus on O-1 visas, EB-1 petitions, and EB-2 National Interest Waivers (NIWs). This involves the precise drafting, organization, and rigorous quality-checking of all petition materials, evidence packets, and supporting documentation. You will maintain a keen eye on timelines, milestones, and deadlines, ensuring absolute precision in case progression. Furthermore, you will exercise sound legal judgment and know when to appropriately escalate complex legal questions to our legal team.
- ⢠**Product Thinking & Tooling Input:** A key aspect of this role is identifying recurring patterns, potential bottlenecks, and critical failure points within our existing immigration workflows. You will provide structured, actionable feedback to our product and engineering teams, contributing to enhancements in areas such as intake flows, document generation and review processes, evidence organization strategies, and case tracking and client visibility mechanisms. Your input will be crucial in validating whether our automation and tooling initiatives are genuinely improving case quality, not just expediting processes. You will also actively participate in testing new technologies and product features to ensure their efficacy and user-friendliness.
- ⢠**Customer Experience:** You will serve as a primary, trusted point of contact for our clients throughout their entire immigration journey. This requires the ability to communicate complex legal concepts with exceptional clarity, empathy, and patience. You will proactively identify and communicate potential risks, gaps, or delays to clients, working collaboratively to resolve issues swiftly and effectively, thereby ensuring a seamless and reassuring experience.
- ⢠**Operations & Systems Building:** You will be instrumental in creating and refining essential operational resources, including playbooks, templates, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality checklists. Your goal will be to transform ad-hoc solutions into robust, repeatable systems that enhance efficiency and consistency. As the team expands, you will support the onboarding and training of new hires, sharing your expertise and best practices. Over time, you will take direct ownership of specific workflows, acting as the Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to ensure their ongoing success and continuous improvement.
- ⢠This role offers a unique opportunity to blend deep legal expertise with operational strategy and product innovation. You will be a vital contributor to Casium's growth, directly impacting the lives of talented individuals and the companies that seek to employ them. By joining us, you will be part of a mission-driven organization that is fundamentally changing how global talent accesses opportunities in the United States.
