📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Pulumi, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools across AWS or GCP.
• Build, optimize, and secure multi-stage Docker containers with deep understanding of containerization best practices for production environments.
• Design, automate, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless testing, building, and deployment across development, staging, and production environments.
• Provision and manage core cloud services including compute, storage (S3 or Cloud Storage), databases (RDS or CloudSQL), serverless functions (Lambda or Cloud Functions), CDNs, and message queues.
• Configure and operate container orchestration platforms such as EKS, GKE, ECS, Fargate, or Cloud Run, with strong preference for Kubernetes-based solutions.
• Implement secure networking architectures using VPCs, private subnets, VPC peering, NAT gateways, load balancers, and VPNs to ensure isolation and compliance.
• Enforce modern cloud security controls including encryption, secrets management, network firewalls, and web application firewalls (AWS WAF, GCP Cloud Armor) aligned with SOC 2, PIPEDA, HIPAA, and GDPR standards.
• Develop high-quality automation and operational tooling in Go, Python, Node.js, or Bash to solve client-specific infrastructure and deployment challenges.
• Monitor system health and ensure high availability through robust observability practices using Prometheus, Datadog, or similar tools.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and non-technical stakeholders as a consultant, diagnosing issues and proposing solutions with minimal oversight.
• Adapt quickly to diverse tech stacks and client requirements across fintech, crypto/web3, and enterprise domains.
• Support AI/ML systems in production by managing infrastructure for LLMs and agents, including cost control, tracing, caching, and fallback routing using tools like Langfuse, LangSmith, LiteLLM, or Temporal.
• Deploy and maintain vector databases, GPU/TPU compute environments, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines where required.
• Work with crypto/web3 infrastructure including node operation (Ethereum, Solana), indexing solutions (The Graph), and RPC infrastructure.
• Support payment processing, ledger architecture, or financial transaction systems requiring strict compliance in regulated environments.
• Operate high-volume, mission-critical systems handling real-time data flows, websocket feeds, or millions of transactions per day.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge sharing within the team to ensure continuity and scalability of infrastructure solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years dedicated experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE roles
• Expert proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/GKE), and Terraform/Pulumi
• Deep, proven expertise in AWS or GCP infrastructure with ability to transition between cloud providers
• Strong coding ability in Go, Python, Node.js, or Bash for automation and tooling
• Demonstrable experience implementing cloud security controls and meeting compliance standards (SOC 2, PIPEDA, HIPAA, GDPR)
• Proven ability to work independently in a consultant or freelance capacity with strong stakeholder communication skills
