Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the full revenue cycle for Wrapbook’s insurance vertical, converting warm leads from the payroll platform and your own network into multi-year, high-value policies for film, television, commercial, and new-media productions.
- • Architect and negotiate complex production packages—workers’ comp, general liability, E&O, auto, equipment, and specialty coverages—while maintaining carrier relationships that span A-rated markets, surplus lines, and London syndicates.
- • Lead underwriting strategy from submission to bind: structure risk narratives, select markets, drive pricing, and secure terms that protect both the client and Wrapbook’s balance sheet; maintain E&O discipline and documentation rigor throughout.
- • Collaborate daily with Payroll Sales and Payroll Customer Success to identify cross-sell moments, co-create account plans, and ensure every payroll client sees insurance as a natural extension of Wrapbook’s value stack.
- • Serve as the senior escalation point for renewals that exceed $1 M in annual premium or involve multi-territory shoots, high-hazard stunts, or international co-production structures; mentor junior brokers and CSRs on technical placement tactics.
- • Translate carrier appetite and market intelligence into quarterly playbooks that guide the entire Placement team; update Salesforce with real-time data so Product and Data teams can automate quoting and streamline submission workflows.
- • Influence product roadmap by feeding real-world pain points—coverage gaps, certificate delays, payroll-to-premium reconciliation—directly to Engineering and Product, ensuring the next release of Wrapbook Insurance solves tomorrow’s production headaches.
- • Represent Wrapbook at industry events (Sundance, NATPE, Cannes Lions, AFM) and carrier councils, evangelizing how embedded insurance and payroll data can reduce loss ratios and accelerate claims resolution for entertainment risks.
- • Model calm, high-judgment leadership when productions face on-set incidents or carrier disputes; coordinate claims advocacy, loss-control resources, and PR messaging to protect both the client’s production schedule and Wrapbook’s brand.
- • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning by hosting monthly “Broker Roundtables,” publishing loss-trend briefs, and curating an internal knowledge base that turns every renewal into a teachable moment for the broader revenue organization.
- • Achieve and exceed annual new-business production targets—benchmarked against top-quartile entertainment brokers—while improving submission-to-bind velocity and gross written premium per underwriter hour.
- • Balance commercial instinct with fiduciary responsibility, ensuring every policy sold aligns with Wrapbook’s risk tolerance, reinsurance treaties, and long-term capital strategy.
