- • As a Sr. Account Executive, Direct Sales at Dell Technologies, you will drive revenue growth by developing new accounts and expanding existing ones within a defined geographic territory in California, directly contributing to the company’s market leadership in enterprise technology solutions.
- • You will serve as the primary strategic liaison between Dell Technologies’ innovative portfolio and senior-level decision-makers, ensuring customer success through tailored solutions that address complex business challenges and foster long-term partnerships.
- • Day to day, you will manage and support territory and accounts through comprehensive account planning, accurate sales forecasting, and alignment of cross-functional virtual teams to execute cohesive go-to-market strategies.
- • You will deeply understand customers’ business objectives and technical requirements to position Dell’s solutions as enablers of digital transformation, ensuring satisfaction and identifying expansion opportunities.
- • You will analyze market and industry trends to anticipate customer needs, leverage internal team strengths, and differentiate Dell’s offerings to win competitive deals and capture incremental business.
- • You will provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to internal teams including pre-sales, services, product management, and finance to ensure seamless delivery and consistent customer experience.
- • You will continuously grow your territory or account base by identifying white space, nurturing relationships, and achieving or exceeding financial targets tied to quota attainment.
- • You will collaborate with marketing, partner ecosystems, and customer success teams to align messaging, amplify campaigns, and ensure post-sale value realization.
- • You will act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, delivering executive-level presentations and thought leadership that influence technology investment decisions.
- • You will operate with autonomy in a remote-first environment while maintaining strong ties to Dell’s culture of innovation, inclusion, and customer-centricity.
- • You will develop expertise in complex enterprise sales cycles, mastering consultative selling, negotiation, and value-based pricing strategies across hybrid cloud, AI, data center, and client solutions.
- • You will build a legacy of high-performance sales execution, gaining recognition as a top performer within Dell’s elite Direct Sales organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12 to 15 years of proven experience in relationship-based selling, preferably in enterprise technology or B2B solutions sales.
- • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and leverage cross-functional teams including internal sales, pre-sales, services consultants, product managers, and finance to drive complex deals.
- • Strong aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions address specific business problems and deliver measurable ROI.
- • Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence and provide thought leadership to C-level stakeholders.
- • Bachelor’s degree preferred (desirable requirement).
