- • Partner with External Wholesalers in designated geographical sales territories to drive revenue growth and achieve territory sales goals for Protective Life products.
- • Build, nurture, and manage relationships with independent insurance representatives through consistent phone and email communication.
- • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for representatives, providing product knowledge, sales support, and guidance on Protective Life’s insurance offerings.
- • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by engaging with existing representatives and expanding outreach to potential new representatives within the territory.
- • Collaborate with External Wholesalers to align on sales strategies, territory planning, and performance metrics to maximize market penetration.
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of representative interactions, sales activity, and pipeline progress in the company’s CRM system.
- • Deliver timely and accurate information regarding product updates, underwriting guidelines, commission structures, and policy changes to representatives.
- • Support representatives in resolving client-related inquiries and facilitating smooth policy issuance and servicing processes.
- • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales approaches and provide actionable insights to External Wholesalers.
- • Demonstrate a strong sales-focused mindset with a competitive drive to exceed individual and team performance targets.
- • Maintain a high standard of professional communication, ensuring clarity, responsiveness, and trust in all interactions with representatives and internal teams.
- • Adhere to company compliance standards and regulatory requirements in all sales and communication activities.
- • Contribute to team success by sharing best practices, participating in training sessions, and supporting internal initiatives aimed at improving sales effectiveness.
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for achieving assigned sales objectives and key performance indicators.
- • Utilize data and sales metrics to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and adjust outreach strategies accordingly.
- • Remain current on Protective Life’s product portfolio, including life insurance, annuities, and supplemental products, to effectively represent offerings to representatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in insurance sales, wholesaling, or internal sales support within the life insurance or financial services industry
- • Strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with independent agents or representatives
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex insurance products clearly
- • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote, self-directed environment
- • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tracking tools
- • High level of integrity and commitment to regulatory compliance in sales practices
