  • • As a Senior Leader, Technical Program Management at Mapbox, you will lead the post-sales Technical Program Management (TPM) organization across EMEA, ensuring successful, on-time launches for key customers by transforming complex needs into realized value while minimizing disruptions to priorities and roadmap.
  • • You will serve as the senior escalation point for complex customer launches and major incidents with significant financial and strategic implications, providing high-judgment updates to Mapbox leaders and driving accountability across teams for consistent, quality deliveries.
  • • In this role, you will define and champion the charter, engagement model, and responsibilities of the EMEA TPM team, recruit, develop, and retain high-performing TPMs with strong technical and customer leadership capabilities, and align with Product and Engineering to translate customer feedback into actionable insights and roadmap clarity.
  • • You will lead executive-level discussions around delivery timelines, trade-offs, scope, and business impact, provide calm and decisive leadership during high-pressure situations with customers, and identify inconsistencies or missing processes across the organization—such as standards for JIRA bugs or missing dashboards—to drive operational rigor and continuous improvement.
  • • You will navigate matrixed organizations effectively, aligning Sales, Product, Engineering, Support, and Solutions Architecture to deliver customer outcomes, and act as a change leader who has successfully improved or scaled delivery organizations by implementing operational discipline in evolving environments.
  • • This role requires up to 50% travel and demands that you be based within 60 minutes of a major international airport hub to support rapid-response customer engagement and site visits, ensuring you can act swiftly when strategic customer needs arise.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 10+ years of experience leading enterprise software implementations or Professional Services delivery in a post-sales environment
  • • 5+ years of people management experience leading technical customer-facing delivery or services teams
  • • Proven ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deployments from kickoff through production launch
  • • Demonstrated success managing scope, SOW execution, change management, and high-impact customer escalations
  • • Deep customer empathy paired with disciplined execution and delivery-oriented leadership
  • • Technically fluent in cloud architectures, API/SDK integrations, and enterprise technical ecosystems
  • • Executive communicator able to engage effectively across audiences—from developers to senior executives—with clarity, confidence, and precision
  • • Cross-functional influencer capable of navigating matrixed organizations to align Sales, Product, Engineering, Support, and Solutions Architecture
  • • Change leader with experience improving or scaling delivery organizations and implementing operational rigor in evolving environments
  • • Willingness to travel up to 50% and ability to be based within 60 minutes of a major international airport hub
