- • Senior Legal Counsel role at Stedi, a pioneering healthcare clearinghouse building modern API and EDI solutions for healthcare transactions, where you will own strategic customer contracting, payer trading partner agreements, and key vendor contracts while working closely with the Head of Legal and company leadership.
- • Day to day responsibilities include owning customer contracting from first redline through signature, driving payer and vendor agreements to close within risk profile, negotiating BAAs, improving and automating legal playbooks and workflows, and taking on new legal areas based on business need as the second legal hire in a rapidly growing company.
- • Stedi is building the first new healthcare clearinghouse in decades with $142 million in funding from top investors like Stripe, Addition, and USV, offering modern API interfaces alongside traditional EDI processes to enable seamless healthcare transaction exchange, and has been ranked among the fastest-growing SaaS vendors by Ramp.
- • In this role, you will scale and improve legal processes and tools, translate legal expertise into business strategy, use AI and technology to enhance work quality and speed, and have tremendous opportunity to shape your career trajectory in a lean, innovative team passionate about automation and eliminating toil.

- • Healthcare experience, whether through BigLaw or in-house
- • Ability to write clearly and explain complex issues in plain language for different stakeholders

- • Thrives in ambiguity, creates structure from chaos, and can independently design scalable processes from scratch
- • Business acumen to blend legal rigor with strategic persuasion, knowing when to apply pressure and when to collaborate
