- • As Senior Legal Counsel at Qohash Inc., you will play a critical role in safeguarding the company’s mission to build a foundational pillar of Canada’s digital sovereignty by ensuring legal soundness and strategic alignment in high-stakes commercial and regulatory environments.
- • You will draft, review, and negotiate key commercial contracts including MSAs, DPAs, SLAs, and partnership agreements; establish a commercial contract playbook; support enterprise negotiations; navigate SOC 2 and security procurement processes; advise HR and management on employment and corporate matters; serve as the primary legal contact for enterprise clients; and coordinate with external counsel across jurisdictions including Quebec, Ontario, EU, and relevant US states.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in SaaS and data privacy law, scale your impact in a high-growth startup environment, influence corporate strategy as a trusted advisor to executives, and develop leadership in cross-functional legal and commercial negotiations with global enterprise partners.
🎯 Requirements
- • Licensed member of the Quebec Bar and/or Ontario Bar with a deep understanding of provincial laws and regulations
- • 7+ years of proven legal experience, with demonstrated strength in commercial law, SaaS contracts, and data privacy
- • 4+ years of legal experience as an in-house counsel at technology companies, preferably at a growth-stage startup
- • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage complex, high-value contracts
- • Exceptional client-facing skills with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders confidently
- • Demonstrated ability to transition from a risk-elimination mindset to a business-first, risk-management approach
