📋 Description

• • Senior Legal Counsel (IP/AI) responsible for owning Welltech's global intellectual property portfolio and leading legal support for AI-driven product initiatives across the company's global product ecosystem.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing trademark, copyright, trade secret, and patent portfolios; responding to IP disputes and infringement matters; conducting IP clearance reviews for new features and marketing materials; advising on copyright protection for proprietary content; building internal IP playbooks and training materials; managing external counsel relationships; serving as subject matter expert on AI regulation including the EU AI Act and GDPR Article 22; leading legal reviews for AI-powered features such as personalization engines and generative AI tools; advising on data minimization, transparency, and non-discrimination for algorithmic systems; collaborating with Privacy Counsel on DPIAs for AI initiatives; tracking regulatory developments and translating them into internal guidance; supporting due diligence on third-party AI vendors and model licensing; partnering with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Growth teams to embed legal review into product development; advising on licensing and content partnership agreements involving IP or AI rights; contributing to legal team strategy and resource planning.
