- • Vanta, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Manager of Account Management to lead our Commercial team. This pivotal role is designed for an experienced leader who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced B2B SaaS environment. You will be instrumental in driving Vanta's mission to help businesses earn and prove trust by ensuring continuous security monitoring and verification. As a Senior Manager, your primary focus will be on leading and developing a team of ambitious Account Managers, directly contributing to the achievement of our ambitious Gross Dollar Retention (GDR) and Net Revenue Retention (NRR) targets. This is an opportunity to not only manage but also to shape the future of Vanta's Account Management organization as we scale, expand into new market segments, and solidify our position as a best-in-class provider.
- • Your core responsibility will be to manage, mentor, and inspire a growing team of high-performing Account Managers. You will equip them with the necessary tools, provide consistent coaching, and offer unwavering support to ensure they consistently deliver exceptional results for the business. This involves fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity within the team.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves evolving Vanta’s expansion and renewal sales playbook. You will be tasked with developing and implementing innovative sales initiatives and strategic approaches aimed at significantly boosting our GDR and NRR. This includes identifying new opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within our existing customer base and optimizing renewal processes to maximize customer lifetime value.
- • You will play a crucial role in growing the Account Management team itself. This includes actively participating in the recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and effective onboarding experience for new hires, and developing comprehensive training programs that set them up for success from day one. Your leadership will be key in building a robust and scalable team.
- • Establishing and refining sales training programs will be a key deliverable. You will conduct regular weekly forecasting meetings, providing critical insights and guidance. Furthermore, you will mentor your direct reports on advanced strategies to enhance customer account retention and drive growth within their assigned portfolios. This mentorship will focus on building strong customer relationships and proactively addressing their evolving needs.
- • Fostering an inclusive and collaborative Account Management organization is paramount. You will be a champion for Vanta’s culture and values, ensuring that the team operates with integrity, transparency, and a shared commitment to excellence. This includes promoting diversity and inclusion within the team and across customer interactions.
