  • • As a Senior Manager of Acquisition Sales at Bluehost, you will lead the creation and scaling of a new outbound acquisition engine from the ground up, directly impacting the company’s ability to grow its customer base and Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) through high-velocity, data-informed sales efforts. This role is pivotal in establishing Bluehost’s next phase of revenue growth by combining hands-on leadership with strategic vision to build a repeatable, scalable sales motion.
  • • You will build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Sales Representatives focused on new customer acquisition through aggressive outbound efforts, including phone-based outreach and strategic email sequencing, while fostering a performance-driven culture rooted in accountability, continuous improvement, and consistent prospect engagement across channels.
  • • You will design, implement, and refine scalable sales processes, cadences, and best practices—such as lead qualification frameworks, outreach cadences, and CRM hygiene standards—to ensure repeatability, efficiency, and scalability as the team grows, turning ambiguity into structured, measurable outcomes.
  • • You will drive customer acquisition strategies by analyzing key sales metrics—including conversion rates, pipeline velocity, activity levels, and funnel performance—to identify bottlenecks, test new approaches, and optimize outreach effectiveness in a competitive SaaS hosting market.
  • • You will partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align messaging, develop sales enablement assets, and co-sell on high-value opportunities, ensuring a unified go-to-market approach that enhances customer experience and increases deal velocity.
  • • You will report directly to executive leadership, providing accurate forecasts, performance insights, and strategic recommendations that influence broader company initiatives, while also mentoring and developing your team members to unlock their full potential and prepare them for future leadership roles.
  • • You will continuously experiment with and refine outreach strategies—testing new scripts, subject lines, timing, and channel mixes—to improve engagement rates, differentiate Bluehost in a crowded market, and uncover innovative acquisition channels that others overlook.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience as a sales leader in SaaS, PaaS, or technology sales, with a strong preference for candidates who have direct experience in the web hosting, domain, or website builder industry.
  • • Demonstrated success in building and scaling outbound sales teams from zero, including hiring, onboarding, structuring compensation plans, and establishing performance cultures that consistently exceed pipeline and revenue targets.
  • • Deep expertise in high-volume prospecting environments, with the ability to coach reps on effective live conversation techniques, objection handling, and strategic email sequencing to maximize response and conversion rates.
  • • Strong operational acumen in pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and performance tracking using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics to drive data-informed decision-making and continuous optimization.
  • • A creative, strategic mindset comfortable with experimentation—willing to challenge assumptions, test new outreach tactics, and iterate rapidly based on data to unlock novel acquisition pathways.
  • • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align messaging, develop enablement content, and drive cohesive go-to-market strategies.
