- • The Senior Manager, Business Development at Carl Zeiss AG plays a pivotal role in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and aligning business strategies with product offerings in the AR/VR field.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and pursuing business opportunities in new fields, assessing leads for commercial and strategic potential, developing and implementing strategic partnerships with key industry players, collaborating with product and technology teams, creating presentations for board-level stakeholders, supporting contract negotiations, developing talent in the AR/VR domain, building internal networks for efficiency, and contributing to the overall AR/VR commercial strategy.

🎯 Requirements
- • Master’s degree in business management, engineering, or equivalent
- • Minimum 5 years in business development, key account management, global product management, or cross-functional project leadership in a complex international environment
- • Proven success in managing complex projects and contract negotiations
- • Experience in high-tech, ophthalmic, or innovative industries (e.g., optics, electronics, advanced manufacturing)
- • Business fluent in English and German
- • Strong financial analysis and P&L management skills
