📋 Description
- • As the founding leader of Delinea’s Mexico-based FP&A Center of Excellence, you will build and run company-wide headcount and expense reporting operations, establishing a scalable, automation-first hub that delivers high-quality financial intelligence to business leaders across Product, G&A, and GTM.
- • You will own end-to-end headcount planning (annual budget, quarterly re-forecasts, monthly actuals), consolidate and publish auditable HC reports, partner with HR and business leaders to align workforce plans with financial constraints, monitor cost-to-revenue ratios, and deliver timely insights to operational leaders.
- • You will own company-wide expense budget vs. actual analysis, partner with FP&A pillars to deliver variance commentary, identify spending trends and root causes, maintain and improve reporting infrastructure, and support Corporate FP&A on consolidated HC and spend views for P&L and financial statements.
- • You will ensure data integrity and governance across HR and financial systems, build audit-ready workflows and SOPs, lead automation opportunities using AI tools (Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT), champion continuous process improvement, and recruit, onboard, and develop a small team of Mexico-based analysts with structured growth plans and quality gates.
- • Reporting to the Senior Director, Finance, you will work hybrid (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in Mexico City - Reforma, joining a global team driven by innovation, integrity, and ownership, with the opportunity to leave your fingerprints on how a finance organization operates at IPO scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with a focus on headcount planning and/or expense management in a global company (technology company preferred).
- • 3+ years of direct people management experience, with a demonstrated ability to develop analysts and build high-performing teams.
- • Strong financial modeling capability; advanced Excel proficiency required.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish; comfortable presenting findings to senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
- • Active user of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to accelerate analysis, automate routine tasks, and improve the quality and speed of FP&A deliverables.
- • Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite) and close partnering with Accounting for month-end.
