- • As a Senior Manager, Insurance Product Management at Gravie, you will lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of innovative insurance products designed to transform how small and midsize businesses access and experience health benefits. This role is critical to Gravie’s mission of creating benefits that truly serve employers and employees by simplifying complexity, improving affordability, and enhancing usability in a fragmented healthcare market.
- • You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for insurance offerings—from market research and concept validation through design, pricing, regulatory compliance, launch, and post-launch optimization—ensuring products meet both business objectives and member needs while aligning with Gravie’s innovative, member-first philosophy.
- • Day to day, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including underwriting, actuarial, legal, compliance, engineering, marketing, and sales to define product requirements, prioritize features, and translate complex insurance concepts into clear, market-ready solutions.
- • You will conduct deep market and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, regulatory shifts, and unmet needs in the small group insurance space, using data and customer insights to inform product positioning, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
- • You will develop and maintain product roadmaps that balance innovation with feasibility, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact features while managing dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations across the organization.
- • You will partner with actuarial and underwriting teams to design benefit structures that are actuarially sound, compliant with state and federal regulations (including ACA, ERISA, and state insurance laws), and optimized for cost, risk, and member value.
- • You will work closely with engineering and UX/UI teams to translate product specifications into intuitive digital experiences, ensuring seamless integration with Gravie’s technology platform and member-facing tools.
- • You will monitor product performance post-launch using key metrics such as adoption rates, member satisfaction, retention, loss ratios, and profitability, using insights to drive iterative improvements and inform future product decisions.
- • You will mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity within the product team.
