  • • The Senior Manager, Literacy Advisor at Cambium Learning Group, Inc. serves as a strategic bridge between Lexia’s literacy solutions and sales execution, leading a national team of Literacy Consultants to ensure instructional expertise is effectively translated into market-facing strategies that drive adoption and impact in PK–12 education.
  • • This role is critical to aligning product positioning with the Science of Reading and district needs, enabling the sales team to overcome instructional credibility barriers and advance complex opportunities through expert-led engagements and thought leadership.
  • • Day to day, the Senior Manager will partner with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Customer Success, Curriculum, Internal Learning) to execute Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, translating company initiatives into clear field-level tactics that support organizational priorities and accelerate sales goals.
  • • They will lead, coach, and mentor a national team of Literacy Consultants by establishing performance expectations, setting goals, evaluating effectiveness, and providing ongoing professional development to ensure high-quality, research-aligned customer engagements.
  • • The role involves building playbooks, demo protocols, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency across regions, while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and deep literacy expertise among the consultant team.
  • • The Senior Manager will collaborate with Sales Directors and account owners to prioritize consultant deployment across key accounts, guide strategy for complex opportunities, and serve as a senior partner in high-impact presentations, demos, and district engagements that advance deals.
  • • They will maintain exceptional expertise in the Science of Reading, state standards, and PK–12 literacy priorities, overseeing the creation and delivery of customized, high-impact presentations tailored to district needs and ensuring product functionality is consistently tied to instructional challenges and goals.
  • • Through cross-functional collaboration, they will share synthesized field insights to inform product enhancements, roadmap decisions, and GTM adjustments, support RFP responses, and represent Lexia at national events, conferences, and webinars as a literacy thought leader.
  • • Operationally, they will allocate consultant support strategically to maximize impact, monitor team activity and capacity, report findings to leadership, and develop structures for knowledge sharing to ensure alignment across regions.
  • • The person in this role will develop deep knowledge of Lexia’s full portfolio—including design principles, blended learning models, professional learning solutions, and proven efficacy—while crafting a scalable, consistent approach to how field teams communicate Lexia’s instructional impact.
  • • They will achieve mission-driven impact by creating opportunity for every student through literacy education, gaining recognition as a trusted advisor to curriculum directors, literacy leaders, and superintendents, and strengthening Lexia’s position as a leader in evidence-based literacy solutions.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of a Master’s degree in Education, Literacy, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • • 7+ years of PK–12 experience, including 3+ years in large district-level or state/agency leadership.
  • • Experience in managing instructional leaders and teams.
  • • A proven grasp of the principles of Science of Reading in education and conversant in all areas of literacy.
  • • Excellent background in translating instructional research into strategic product positioning.
  • • Lexia portfolio knowledge is highly preferred and versatile enough to demo all products.
  • • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; able to model best in class field engagements.
  • • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally.
  • • Ability to travel 50%+.
