- • As a Senior Manager of Planning & Scheduling at Hohmann & Barnard, Inc., part of Marmon Holdings backed by Berkshire Hathaway, you will lead enterprise-wide production planning, inventory management, logistics, and scheduling across all facilities to ensure optimal service levels, production flow, and transportation efficiency.
- • You will directly oversee and mentor the Production & Cost Coordinator and Inventory & Logistics Manager positions, drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) alignment, establish standardized planning processes, and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on forecast accuracy, inventory turns, on-time delivery, and logistics performance.
- • You will collaborate with Plant Managers, Operations Leadership, Procurement, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service to align operational priorities, support new product introductions, and drive accountability across departments to ensure customer commitments are met.
- • You will develop and maintain KPI reporting, oversee enterprise inventory strategies including PFEP initiatives, manage transportation strategies for inbound/outbound/logistics operations, and lead intercility transfer and inventory balancing efforts to optimize working capital and support long-term business growth.
🎯 Requirements
- • Associates degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
- • Minimum of 5–10 years of progressive experience in production planning, scheduling, inventory management, logistics, or supply chain leadership within a manufacturing environment
- • Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and multi-site operations preferred
- • Advanced knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, production planning systems, inventory control methodologies, and supply chain best practices
- • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and data analysis tools
- • Ability to travel up to 25%
