- • Senior Manager of Retention role focused on owning the full customer lifecycle from first purchase through long-term loyalty across email, SMS, subscriptions, direct mail, post-purchase flows, winbacks, and beyond for a real-food nutrition company specializing in regeneratively raised meat snacks and supplements.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning Klaviyo for segmentation, flows, testing, and reporting; managing campaign calendars and execution for all lifecycle campaigns; leading voice memo SMS campaigns and testing new formats; collaborating with internal teams on design, coordination, and QA; overseeing direct mail creative and strategic execution; driving retention through winbacks, churn mitigation, loyalty, upsell, and save strategies; partnering with Marketing to evolve offerings and optimize onboarding; using data for cohort analysis and predictive models to identify LTV growth opportunities; mapping and optimizing customer journeys across touchpoints; deploying behavioral segmentation; running experiments across messaging, offers, and flow timing; tracking KPIs like LTV, churn, deliverability, and subscription health; translating insights into action across marketing, CX, and product teams; and proactively identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- • The company is a fast-growing, real-food nutrition brand focused on making eating like a human easy, honest, and impactful, with $20M+ in revenue from email + SMS and nearly $1M in MRR from subscriptions launched earlier this year, scaling rapidly in the CPG space.
- • In this role, you will develop and execute a strategic lifecycle roadmap, scale the email list to 1 million engaged subscribers, build one of the strongest subscription programs in the category, gain deep expertise in retention tech-stack (Klaviyo, Postscript, Luna, PostPilot), sharpen analytical skills in LTV, CAC:LTV, churn, and cohort analysis, and grow leadership experience by mentoring a coordinator or specialist while driving measurable impact in a high-growth DTC environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4-6+ years in retention, lifecycle marketing, CRM, or subscription growth for e-commerce or consumer brands
- • Deep Klaviyo expertise, including segmentation, deliverability, dynamic flows, and analytics
- • Strong command of retention metrics: LTV, CAC:LTV, churn, cohorts, repeat rate, and subscription KPIs
- • Proficiency in Excel/Sheets and comfort working with dashboards or BI tools like Triple Whale
- • Experience managing or mentoring another marketer (e.g., coordinator or specialist)
- • Comfort using AI to speed up workflow and experimentation
