  • • As the first dedicated Revenue Operations hire at David Energy, you will build and scale the revenue operations function from the ground up, directly enabling the company’s mission to deliver cheaper, cleaner energy by optimizing the sales, marketing, and customer success engines that drive customer acquisition and retention in high-growth markets.
  • • You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, designing scalable processes across the full customer lifecycle while ensuring data integrity, system optimization, and cross-functional alignment to support predictable revenue growth and operational efficiency.
  • • Day to day, you will design and implement scalable revenue operations processes spanning lead generation to retention, own forecasting and pipeline management, and develop KPIs and dashboards that provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • • You will serve as the primary administrator and strategic owner of Salesforce and the revenue tech stack, managing integrations, evaluating new tools, ensuring data governance, and building automated workflows to eliminate manual inefficiencies.
  • • You will partner with sales and customer success leadership to optimize processes, territories, compensation plans, onboarding, expansion, and retention workflows, while supporting pricing and deal approval mechanisms.
  • • You will build comprehensive analytics capabilities to analyze conversion rates, sales cycle efficiency, CAC, LTV, and funnel bottlenecks, delivering data-driven recommendations to improve performance and track progress against targets.
  • • You will collaborate closely with marketing on lead generation and attribution, with finance on revenue recognition and forecasting, with product on usage analytics, and with customer success on health scoring and expansion initiatives.
  • • You will join a mission-driven, Series A energy tech company that is scaling rapidly in NYC and expanding across the Northeast, working within a hybrid culture that values innovation, inclusivity, and impact in the clean energy transition.
  • • In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the foundational revenue infrastructure of a growing climate-tech startup, gaining end-to-end ownership of RevOps strategy and execution while developing leadership skills in a high-impact, fast-paced environment.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5-7 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or business operations roles
  • • 3+ years of experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology company
  • • Expert-level proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) including custom objects, workflows, and reporting
  • • Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar)
  • • Proven track record of building and scaling revenue operations in a Series A/B environment
  • • Experience with sales and marketing automation tools (Outreach, Salesloft, Marketo, etc.)
