đź“‹ Description
- • The Senior Manager, Revenue Systems is a strategic architect responsible for designing and optimizing the go-to-market (GTM) engine at Lytx, ensuring that sales, marketing, and customer success processes are not only integrated but intentionally engineered to drive scalable revenue growth. This role transcends administrative support by focusing on process discipline, system intelligence, and operational excellence to enable predictable forecasting, efficient handoffs, and data-driven decision-making across the revenue lifecycle.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, documenting, and refining core GTM processes across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success; ensuring Salesforce opportunity stages accurately reflect the enterprise sales cycle with clear exit criteria, required fields, and automation; driving standardized outbound prospecting workflows to reduce context switching for BDRs; improving handoffs between BDR → AE → CS through simplified routing logic and ownership rules; identifying workflow friction points and redesigning them for speed and clarity; defining and maintaining the long-term GTM tech stack strategy in partnership with Enterprise Business Systems; evaluating and rationalizing tools to eliminate redundancy; establishing a tiered ownership framework for GTM systems (Tier 1: architectural control, Tier 2: co-managed strategy, Tier 3: integration support); managing vendor relationships and leading contract negotiations with procurement and senior leadership; identifying and prioritizing AI and machine learning opportunities to improve GTM efficiency, data quality, and decision-making; embedding AI capabilities into workflows such as lead scoring, next-best action, forecasting, and activity capture; evaluating and operationalizing AI features within existing platforms (Salesforce, Gong, marketing automation) before introducing new tools; designing processes with clear guardrails for AI outputs to prevent blind trust in black-box systems; reducing manual data entry through AI-driven automation, enrichment, and workflow acceleration; reducing manual work by designing automation that enforces process standards; ensuring accurate and predictable data flow between platforms; establishing governance standards for fields, validation rules, routing logic, and system dependencies; meeting regularly with Sales, Marketing, and CS leaders to translate strategic initiatives (new segments, pricing models, outbound strategies, partner motions) into system and process requirements; proactively recommending workflow and automation improvements; owning the GTM systems and process roadmap; partnering with Enterprise Business Systems on configuration, API integrations, and release cycles; defining SLAs aligned with revenue priorities; managing team members responsible for Gong, LeanData, Xactly, and other systems; establishing standards for configuration, documentation, and change management; and developing clear ownership boundaries between admin-level support and architectural-level design.
- • The Revenue Operations team at Lytx operates at the intersection of strategy, technology, and execution, partnering closely with Enterprise Business Systems to ensure the GTM engine is not just functional but optimized for enterprise-scale growth. The company is mission-driven, focused on saving lives through innovative video telematics and safety solutions for commercial fleets, and values a culture of humble, hungry, and capable individuals who go all in to make a meaningful impact.
- • In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in GTM process architecture, AI-enabled revenue operations, and enterprise-scale system integration; gain visibility and influence across senior leadership in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success; build a track record of translating ambiguous business goals into measurable process and system improvements; and position themselves as a trusted advisor in revenue enablement—laying the foundation for future leadership in Revenue Operations, GTM Strategy, or Chief Revenue Officer pathways.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, GTM Systems Engineering, or Business Systems
- • Deep Salesforce expertise including opportunity lifecycle design, automation, workflow configuration, and experience redesigning sales stages, routing models, or outbound workflows to improve execution
- • Proven experience implementing or operationalizing AI capabilities within GTM systems (e.g., CRM AI features, conversational intelligence, predictive analytics) and applying AI pragmatically to business workflows
- • Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, middleware, and data architecture, with experience simplifying complex GTM tool environments
- • Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business goals into structured processes and technical execution, with experience managing direct reports and influencing cross-functional leadership
🏖️ Benefits
- • Medical, dental, and vision insurance with Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
- • 401(k) plan with company match, life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage
- • Generous time off including FTO/PTO, 11 paid holidays plus 1 inclusive holiday per year, Volunteer Time Off, and Employee Well-Being program
- • Additional perks: Education Reimbursement, Employee Recognition program, Employee Referral program, Telehealth, and voluntary benefit programs
