  • • Lead and elevate inbound and outbound business development efforts across EMEA and APAC for multiple Perforce brands, driving strategic growth by ensuring regional BDR teams consistently engage the right personas, generate high-quality meetings, and contribute meaningfully to pipeline expansion in a competitive global market.
  • • Coach, mentor, and develop regional Business Development Representative (BDR) teams through performance feedback, skill-building workshops, and career pathing to elevate individual and team productivity, foster a culture of accountability, and ensure consistent execution of sales development best practices.
  • • Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and Operations leadership to optimize lead flow, refine targeting strategies, improve conversion rates from lead to meeting, and align on ideal customer profiles, messaging, and campaign execution across global regions.
  • • Design, implement, and scale scalable sales development processes, playbooks, and cadences that standardize outreach effectiveness while allowing for regional adaptation, leveraging CRM and sales engagement tools to track activity, measure outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.
  • • Analyze performance metrics including connection rates, meeting conversion, pipeline contribution, and forecast accuracy to identify trends, diagnose bottlenecks, and recommend data-driven adjustments to tactics, territories, and resource allocation.
  • • Collaborate with Sales Enablement to ensure BDRs are equipped with up-to-date product knowledge, objection handling techniques, and value-based selling frameworks tailored to Perforce’s diverse portfolio of developer tools and enterprise software solutions.
  • • Represent the sales development function in cross-functional leadership forums, advocating for resource needs, sharing insights on market trends, and influencing go-to-market strategy based on frontline feedback from BDR teams.
  • • Foster a high-performance, inclusive team culture that values curiosity, resilience, and collaboration, recognizing top performers and addressing performance gaps through coaching and development plans.
  • • Stay current on evolving sales development methodologies, emerging technologies in sales tech stacks, and EMEA/APAC market dynamics to ensure Perforce remains agile and competitive in its outreach strategies.
  • • Contribute to quarterly business reviews and annual planning cycles by providing forecasts, pipeline insights, and strategic recommendations that support overall revenue goals and market expansion initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience leading and scaling sales development or business development teams in a B2B technology or SaaS environment, preferably with exposure to EMEA and/or APAC markets.
  • • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop BDRs or SDRs, with a track record of improving team performance, meeting conversion rates, and pipeline contribution through data-informed coaching and process optimization.
  • • Strong analytical skills with experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft) to track metrics, diagnose performance trends, and drive improvements.
  • • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with proven success partnering with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to align on lead flow, messaging, and target account strategies.
  • • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels and articulating complex sales development strategies clearly and persuasively.
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
