- • Senior Manager, Special Projects at GiveDirectly leads high-impact, high-ambiguity initiatives to unlock large-scale funding and partnerships from technology and innovation sectors, driving step-change impact for people in poverty.
- • Day to day, you will identify and shape high-potential opportunities, own end-to-end execution of priority initiatives, lead cross-functional collaboration across Product, Programs, Research, and Finance, build and manage external relationships with senior stakeholders, develop tailored partnership strategies, and support leadership engagement with CEO and Board.
- • GiveDirectly is a globally recognized nonprofit that has delivered cash transfers to over 2 million people in 15 countries, raised over $1B since 2011, and is celebrated for its evidence-based, innovative approach to ending extreme poverty through direct cash transfers.
- • In this role, you will develop strategic thinking, executive influence, and partnership-building skills while contributing to transformative global poverty solutions in a candid, agile, and high-performing culture that values ownership, inclusivity, and impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-performance environment (e.g., consulting, technology, startups, nonprofit fundraising)
- • Proven track record of tenacious problem solving, ownership, and delivering results in ambiguous, high-stakes contexts
- • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with ability to align senior stakeholders without formal authority
- • Experience shaping, securing, or supporting multi-million-dollar partnerships, investments, or strategic initiatives
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for high-stakes, external-facing materials
- • Fluency in technology-driven environments and ability to engage credibly with technical or product-oriented partners

- • Base salary of $125,000 with target bonus of 10% (~$12,500), leading to estimated total compensation of $137,500+
