- • Lead and grow strategic payment partnerships to expand market share, boost revenue, and unlock new opportunities for Zip in the US market.
- • Execute and optimize partner success by managing relationships, tracking performance, and collaborating across product, sales, marketing, and finance teams to drive impact and innovation.
- • Work within a remote-first culture for US-based employees with optional in-person collaboration at Zip’s Manhattan office, supporting a values-led organization focused on Customer First, Own it, Stronger Together, and Change the Game.
- • Develop deep market and payment landscape insights, leverage AI tools for reporting and opportunity identification, and educate executives and sales teams on partnership strategies.
- • Manage relationships with key payment partners including Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, issuers, and acquirers, driving growth strategies, tracking incentives, and optimizing revenue and cost outcomes.
- • Lead internal alignment with regional counterparts, share partnership updates and risks, and ensure strong processes for merchant onboarding and partner performance tracking.
- • Drive payment strategy, partnership enablement, and partnership management initiatives, including negotiating global deals, tracking merchant KPIs, and optimizing payment processing economics.
- • Bring 5+ years of experience in strategy, partnerships, or payments, with proven ability to manage key relationships, model complex financials in Excel, use AI tools, execute GTM strategies via Salesforce, and negotiate complex cross-functional deals.
- • Demonstrate results-driven innovation, structured thinking, customer-first ethic, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels while solving problems creatively.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in strategy, partnerships, or payments, with at least 4+ years managing key relationships with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, issuers, or acquirers.
- • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including complex modeling in Excel and data-driven decision-making to optimize commercial outcomes.
- • Proven ability to use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Notion AI, Salesforce Einstein) to improve decision-making, efficiency, or partner engagement.
- • Demonstrated success in tracking deals, managing partner pipelines, and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies using Salesforce.
- • Experience leading complex deals, collaborating cross-functionally, and influencing stakeholders at all levels through negotiation and influence.
- • Consulting background (e.g., Deloitte, McKinsey) is helpful but not required.
