- • Marqeta is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Marketing Analyst to join their team and play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. By focusing on building scalable and trusted performance reporting, validating and enhancing datasets, and creating user-friendly self-serve dashboards, the Senior Marketing Analyst will directly contribute to the company's strategic decision-making and revenue generation. - • In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing the adoption of self-serve dashboards. This involves ensuring these dashboards are accurate, consistent, and highly usable for marketing and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams, providing them with the data they need to perform effectively. You will also prepare and refine datasets to support ongoing reporting needs, forecasting models, attribution inputs, segmentation analyses, and broader analytics initiatives, ensuring the foundation for all data-driven activities is robust. A significant part of your day-to-day will involve conducting foundational analysis of key marketing metrics, including campaign performance, customer funnel behavior, website engagement trends, audience demographics, and the efficiency of paid media investments. This analytical work will provide critical insights into what's working and where improvements can be made.
- • Furthermore, you will define the necessary tracking requirements for marketing initiatives and collaborate closely with platform owners, such as those managing Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Salesforce, Marketo, and various paid media platforms. This partnership is essential to support accurate data implementation and ensure that all incoming data is properly validated before it's used for analysis. You will also be tasked with designing and executing measurement and testing plans. This includes setting up experiments, performing quality assurance on the testing framework, and conducting initial analysis of the results to understand the impact of marketing activities. Maintaining the overall quality and reliability of marketing analytics data is paramount. This involves overseeing data across source systems, ingestion pipelines, data warehouses, and Business Intelligence (BI) layers, actively investigating any issues, validating data transformations, and coordinating updates to ensure reporting remains consistent and trustworthy.
