📋 Description

  • • As a Senior MICE Specialist at Perk, you will play a pivotal role in expanding and elevating our Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) offerings, specifically tailored for our Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) and mid-market clientele.
  • • This dynamic position sits at the crucial intersection of our sales and account management teams, granting you significant commercial ownership and strategic influence over how Perk Events delivers exceptional MICE solutions across a diverse and growing client portfolio.
  • • You will be instrumental in driving the growth of our MICE division, working collaboratively with the broader sales organization to amplify client awareness of our innovative MICE capabilities, with a particular focus on increasing the volume of opportunities generated, especially through proactive engagement with our Account Management teams.
  • • Your core responsibility will involve managing a portfolio of predominantly mid-scale MICE projects and moderate-yielding opportunities, with a primary, though not exclusive, focus on supporting Perk's SMB and mid-size accounts on a global scale.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be to expertly craft and present Request for Proposals (RFPs) for a global client base, meticulously managing the entire process from initial proposal development through to negotiation and final contract sign-off. This will include conducting site inspections where deemed appropriate to ensure the highest standards of event planning.
  • • You will be the first point of contact for incoming phone calls and email inquiries from both existing and prospective Perk customers, ensuring all requests and queries are addressed promptly and professionally, maintaining Perk's reputation for excellent service.
  • • A significant part of your role will be to actively support sales conversations, partnering with Sales Executives and Account Managers during discovery phases to help potential clients gain a comprehensive understanding of our MICE services and how they can benefit their organizations.
  • • Proactive relationship management with Perk customers will be paramount. You will continuously nurture these relationships, seeking to understand evolving client needs and uncovering future opportunities for engagement and revenue generation.
  • • A strong problem-solving aptitude is essential. You will be expected to anticipate customer needs, proactively address potential challenges, and provide seamless, high-quality customer service throughout the entire event lifecycle, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
  • • You will be responsible for processing client responses and requests within the company's agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • • Adherence to all Company Quality Standards and Procedures will be a fundamental requirement, ensuring consistency and excellence in all MICE operations.
  • • You are encouraged to actively participate in and contribute to the ongoing refinement of company processes, offering insightful suggestions for possible improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience.
  • • A key objective will be to maximize every opportunity, actively seeking to generate additional revenue streams across all regions. This will directly support the achievement of Perk's overall revenue targets and drive profitability for the MICE division.
  • • You will leverage your expertise to identify and capitalize on cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within the MICE domain, further enhancing client value and company revenue.
  • • By meticulously planning and executing events, you will contribute to strengthening client loyalty and fostering long-term partnerships, solidifying Perk's position as a leader in travel and spend management solutions.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Perk's MICE offering, making a tangible impact on client success and the company's strategic growth trajectory.
