📋 Description

• As a Senior Mobile Engineer (Flutter) at Allica Bank, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing the company’s mobile applications using Flutter, contributing to the mission of serving underserved SMEs in the UK’s fastest-growing fintech.
• You will design, build, test, and maintain efficient, scalable, and well-structured Flutter applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and help shape technical best practices and community practices.
• Allica Bank is a fast-growing UK fintech focused on supporting established SMEs with innovative financial solutions, operating from a modern, collaborative office in Milton Keynes with a strong emphasis on engineering excellence and inclusive culture.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Flutter and mobile architecture, gain experience in agile delivery and CI/CD, influence technical direction, and grow as a technical leader through mentoring and collaboration.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Flutter and Dart, including application of design patterns for testable, maintainable code
• Proficiency in native mobile development languages such as Swift, Objective-C, Java, or Kotlin
• Hands-on experience with mobile UI development, design systems (e.g., via Figma), accessibility, localisation, and responsive design
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles (e.g., MVVM, MVP, VIP), SOLID, TDD/BDD, and experience with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing (unit, integration, UI snapshot)
