  • • Own the strategic expansion of Genomenon’s genomic intelligence platform into the largest pharmaceutical and biotech accounts across the United States, translating complex genomic data into life-changing therapies for millions of patients.
  • • Serve as the single-threaded leader for a portfolio of national accounts—ranging from top-20 pharma giants to emerging biotech innovators—crafting multi-year, multi-million-dollar partnerships that embed Genomenon at the center of their drug-discovery and clinical-development workflows.
  • • Translate deep scientific value into clear business impact: you will map therapeutic-area priorities, identify evidence-generation bottlenecks, and design bespoke enterprise agreements that accelerate target identification, biomarker discovery, and regulatory submissions.
  • • Build and execute a data-driven territory plan that balances aggressive new-logo acquisition with systematic whitespace expansion inside existing customers, ensuring every conversation ladders up to quantifiable pipeline growth and revenue targets.
  • • Orchestrate cross-functional pursuit teams—bringing together Solutions Scientists, Customer Success, Product, and Executive leadership—to deliver compelling business cases, ROI models, and pilot programs that shorten sales cycles and increase average contract values.
  • • Establish yourself as a trusted strategic advisor to Chief Scientific Officers, VP-level Translational Medicine leaders, and Global Heads of R&D IT, positioning Genomenon as an indispensable partner in their precision-medicine and rare-disease initiatives.
  • • Leverage your command of the pharma buying process to navigate complex procurement, legal, and security reviews, turning redlines and risk assessments into opportunities to reinforce value and deepen executive relationships.
  • • Champion market intelligence back into the organization: synthesize competitive moves, emerging therapeutic trends, and customer feedback to influence product roadmap priorities and sharpen Genomenon’s go-to-market narrative.
  • • Mentor junior members of the Business Development team by sharing proven enterprise-selling playbooks, co-leading high-stakes negotiations, and modeling a culture of curiosity, integrity, and customer obsession.
  • • Travel up to 40 % (post-pandemic norms) for high-impact onsite meetings, scientific conferences, and internal QBRs—turning every handshake into a catalyst for partnership and every presentation into a showcase of Genomenon’s mission to cure genetic disease faster.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 8+ years of enterprise or strategic sales experience selling complex SaaS, data, or life-science solutions to pharmaceutical or biotech companies, with a consistent record of exceeding multi-million-dollar quotas.
  • • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-suite and VP-level stakeholders across R&D, Translational Medicine, Bioinformatics, and IT functions within top-tier pharma organizations.
  • • Deep familiarity with drug-discovery and clinical-development workflows, including target identification, biomarker validation, regulatory submission, and companion diagnostics.
  • • Outstanding executive communication and storytelling skills—equally comfortable presenting scientific data to PhDs and financial justification to CFOs.
  • • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field; advanced degree (MS, MBA, PhD, PharmD) strongly preferred.
