- • As a Senior Network Engineer at i3D.net, you’ll be hands-on in building and supporting a global network infrastructure from our office in Atlanta, spanning both service provider backbone and high-performance datacenter environments, ensuring low latency, zero packet loss, and unmatched scalability for millions of users worldwide.
- • You’ll implement and maintain network configurations using automation tools like Ansible and Netbox, troubleshoot and resolve issues across backbone and datacenter environments, monitor traffic with Kentik for capacity planning, keep documentation up to date, support DDoS mitigation, collaborate with architects and product teams, assist in automating workflows, and participate in on-call rotations for customer escalations.
- • You’ll be part of a 20-person team that values doing things right—automated, secure, and always evolving—working with cutting-edge technology and partnering with major names like Nvidia, DuckDuckGo, and Ubisoft to shape the future of gaming and network technology.
- • In this role, you’ll deepen your expertise in Juniper hardware, advanced routing protocols (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, EVPN-VXLAN, MPLS), automation with Ansible and Python, and modern network observability tools, while gaining experience in global backbone operations and contributing to network upgrades, datacenter expansions, and improved automation frameworks that enhance delivery speed and reliability.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–7 years of network engineering experience, preferably in ISP or datacenter environments
- • Solid knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EVPN-VXLAN, and MPLS; hands-on experience with Juniper hardware (MX, QFX, SRX, EX)
- • Experience using Ansible and Python for network automation and scripting
- • Expertise with Netbox and comfort using traffic monitoring tools like Kentik and Grafana
- • Methodical troubleshooting skills for hardware and routing issues, from cable to config
- • Confident working in Linux environments for troubleshooting and scripting
- • Familiarity with storage, virtualization, and cloud fundamentals
- • Fluent in English with strong technical communication skills
- • JNCIP-SP, JNCIP-DC, or similar mid-level certifications are a plus
- • Authorized to work in the United States; based near Atlanta or open to relocating for hybrid role (2 days onsite/week)
