- • The Senior Oncology Account Specialist (SOAS) at Pfizer plays a critical role in promoting Pfizer’s oncology product portfolio, particularly in breast cancer, to healthcare providers and institutions to improve patient experience and care quality.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include calling on healthcare providers and organized customers, educating the healthcare community on appropriate product use, generating demand for Pfizer products, developing strategic territory and account plans, maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), and overcoming access barriers to difficult-to-reach providers.
- • The role operates within Pfizer’s commercial oncology team in a remote-based capacity covering the Arkansas territory, contributing to the company’s mission of delivering safe and effective products through a science- and risk-based quality culture.
- • The SOAS will develop advanced skills in strategic account selling, deepen expertise in oncology therapeutics (especially breast cancer), enhance communication and influence capabilities with HCPs and institutions, and gain experience working in a matrix environment using Pfizer’s digital tools and long-range technology model.
🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS degree from an accredited institution OR associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience OR high school diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience
- • Minimum of 4 years of previous pharmaceutical sales experience OR 4+ years of oncology healthcare professional (HCP) experience working with key oncology thought leaders or high-influence customers
- • Valid US driver’s license with a driving record compliant with company standards (no DUI/DWI or impaired driving citations in the past 7 years)
- • Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary
- • Demonstrated track record of success in pharmaceutical sales or HCP roles, exceptional aptitude for learning, and proficiency in communicating technical/scientific product information

- • Annual base salary range of $108,600 - $250,700, plus eligibility for a Sales Incentive bonus
