- • The Senior Oncology Account Specialist (SOAS) promotes Pfizer’s oncology product portfolio to healthcare providers and specialists, educates the healthcare community on appropriate product use, and engages with accounts and organized customers to improve patient experience and care quality.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing account and business landscapes, developing territory and customer plans, overcoming access barriers to healthcare providers, cultivating relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and addressing physician and account needs with targeted solutions.
- • The role operates within Pfizer’s oncology commercial team, supporting the company’s mission to deliver safe and effective cancer therapies through science-driven, customer-oriented engagement in a field-based setting across the Louisville, KY geography.
- • The SOAS will develop advanced skills in strategic account selling, scientific communication, relationship building with HCPs and institutions, and navigating complex healthcare markets while contributing to Pfizer’s brand growth in high-value oncology accounts.
🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS degree from an accredited institution with at least 4 years of pharmaceutical sales experience or 4+ years of oncology healthcare professional experience working with key opinion leaders or high-influence customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care organizations; OR associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience; OR high school diploma with 10+ years of experience.
- • Valid US driver’s license and driving record compliant with company standards, with ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as required.
- • Demonstrated track record of success in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare professional roles, exceptional aptitude for learning technical/scientific information, and proficiency using complex digital applications to adapt to Pfizer’s technology models.

- • Annual base salary range of $108,600 - $250,700, plus eligibility for a Sales Incentive bonus.
