- • As a Senior Operational Risk Analyst in TransUnion’s Global Capability Centre Africa (GCCA), you will support the Operational Risk and Resilience team in maintaining and managing the operational assurance reporting framework across TransUnion Europe, ensuring risks are identified, understood, and managed in line with approved policies and risk appetite.
- • Day to day, you will engage with business owners to maintain functional risk registers, plan and conduct control operation sampling exercises, prepare high-quality reports and MI dashboards for the European Risk Management Committee, escalate risk and control issues, maintain risk reporting tools, drive control improvements, and support ISO 9001 certification maintenance through internal reviews and audit facilitation.
- • You will be part of the Risk function within TransUnion Europe, a global leader in credit and information services, where risk management is embedded into everyday responsibilities and supported by a collaborative team focused on resilience, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in operational risk management, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance (including UK GDPR and ISO 9001), while developing leadership in risk reporting, control testing, and process improvement initiatives that directly impact enterprise risk resilience.
🎯 Requirements
- • Three years of relevant experience operating within a risk management function or similar role in the financial services sector.
- • Competency in planning and implementing risk reviews, with strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse and present data effectively using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- • Experience working with a Quality Management System certified to ISO 9001, including designing and implementing control dashboards and reporting, and facilitating internal audits and remediation plans.
- • Good understanding of data protection regulations such as UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, along with knowledge of data management environments to drive continual improvement.
- • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills, with the initiative to propose solutions, challenge the status quo, and work independently to meet deadlines across multiple deliverables.
