  • • The Senior Outbound Account Executive, Payments role at Lightspeed Commerce Inc. is focused on driving adoption of Lightspeed Payments within the company’s existing merchant base across North America, directly contributing to revenue growth by transitioning current POS customers to the proprietary, integrated payment solution.
  • • Day to day, the role involves managing a sales pipeline through leads from Account Managers and BDRs, executing full sales cycles from qualification to contract closure, partnering with onboarding teams for smooth merchant launches, serving as an internal Subject Matter Expert on payment processing, collecting merchant feedback for product improvement, and maintaining accurate Salesforce records of all activities and opportunities.
  • • The position is part of the Global Payments GTM team, reporting to the Global Payments Sales Manager, and operates within a company that powers commerce for retail, hospitality, and golf businesses in over 100 countries, with a foundational commitment to inclusion and diversity dating back to its 2005 founding in Montreal’s LGBTQ+ community.
  • • In this role, the individual can develop deep expertise in payment processing and enterprise sales, influence product direction through customer feedback, achieve significant revenue impact, grow into a trusted internal advisor, and advance their career in a high-growth, innovative company that values autonomy, skill development, and meaningful impact.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Direct experience (3+ years) in the payment processing industry
  • • Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in a closing role focused on technology or solution sales
  • • Proven ability to proactively generate and qualify new opportunities
  • • Documented history of success in a revenue target or quota-based environment
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French language skills considered an asset
