  • • As a Senior Paid Media Strategist at Directive Consulting, you will be at the forefront of driving exceptional performance marketing outcomes for our B2B SaaS and Tech clients. This client-facing role is pivotal in developing, executing, and optimizing custom paid media strategies that align with our proprietary Customer Generation methodology, which prioritizes SQLs and customer acquisition over traditional metrics. You will be instrumental in ensuring our clients not only meet but consistently exceed their SQL targets, leveraging your deep expertise across multiple paid media channels.
  • • You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic direction of a portfolio of Paid Media accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders. This involves fostering strong relationships, understanding their unique business objectives, and translating those into high-impact paid media campaigns. Your ability to communicate complex strategies and performance data clearly and concisely will be crucial for client success and retention.
  • • A key aspect of this role is the meticulous creation and ongoing optimization of paid media strategies. This includes conducting in-depth keyword research, crafting compelling ad copy, defining precise audience targeting parameters, and managing budgets effectively across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads. You will be expected to stay ahead of industry trends and leverage new platform features to maximize Return on Investment (ROI) for our clients.
  • • You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including SEO/Content, CRO, and Video specialists, to ensure a cohesive and integrated digital marketing approach. This cross-functional collaboration is essential for delivering comprehensive solutions that drive tangible business results. You will also work with Associate Directors to ensure alignment on both internal operational goals and client-specific objectives, contributing to the overall success of the Paid Media department.
  • • Vendor and operational partner management will be a regular part of your responsibilities. You will engage in weekly communication to ensure seamless task assignment, maintain high standards of work quality, and identify opportunities for process improvements. This proactive approach to partnership management ensures efficient execution and optimal campaign performance.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve building and nurturing client relationships, which is key to driving referrals and expanding our client base. By consistently delivering exceptional results and demonstrating a deep understanding of their business, you will cultivate trust and loyalty, leading to long-term partnerships and consistent renewals.
  • • You will be tasked with building and refining client strategies on a quarterly basis, ensuring they remain aligned with evolving market dynamics and client business goals. This requires a forward-thinking mindset and the ability to adapt strategies based on performance data and industry insights.
  • • A thorough understanding of client positioning and their unique value propositions is paramount. This knowledge will inform your strategic recommendations and ensure that our paid media efforts effectively communicate the client's offerings to their target audience.
  • • You will also be responsible for confirming the accuracy of lead routing within client CRMs, ensuring that the valuable leads generated through paid media efforts are directed to the appropriate sales teams for timely follow-up. This attention to detail is critical for maximizing the conversion of leads into customers.
  • • While not always the primary focus, an understanding of the value and application of Programmatic campaigns will be beneficial, allowing you to identify opportunities where these strategies can complement existing paid media efforts.
  • • Personal productivity and utilization are key performance indicators. You will be expected to manage your workload efficiently, ensuring that client deliverables are met on time and to the highest standard, while also contributing to departmental goals.
  • • Success in this role is defined by your ability to embody Directive's core values, effectively manage a portfolio of approximately five mid-tier and enterprise accounts, and consistently meet or exceed department OKRs related to client growth and goal attainment. Building client trust, fostering renewals, and identifying cross-selling opportunities for other services will be critical indicators of your success.
  • • You will be expected to make exceptional decisions regarding the strategic direction of your accounts, clearly communicate results to client contacts and executives, and demonstrate a unique perspective on how to drive value specifically for SaaS businesses. Your ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives will be a hallmark of your strategic prowess.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to gain extensive experience in creating and managing high-performing Paid Media strategies for enterprise SaaS businesses, contributing directly to their growth and success.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 3 years of experience working at a performance-focused digital marketing agency.
  • • Proven experience working specifically with B2B SaaS/tech clients within an agency setting.
  • • Deep expertise across paid search and paid social advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant platforms.
  • • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using advertising platforms and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel for data-driven decision-making and campaign optimization.
  • • Demonstrated ability to drive measurable results (OCT) and a track record of success with mid-market or enterprise-level accounts.
  • • Exceptional ability to translate and articulate strategy, and to tell compelling stories with data.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive living wage.
  • • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, with a 100% employer-paid option for employees and a 50% contribution for dependents.
  • • Access to mental wellness resources, including certified therapists via Spring Health and a Headspace membership.
