  • • As a Senior Partner Sales Engineer at Atlan, you will serve as the primary technical evangelist for the company’s context layer and control plane for data and AI, enabling partners like Snowflake, Databricks, hyperscalers, and leading systems integrators to successfully position, demo, and validate Atlan’s platform in enterprise AI initiatives. Your work will directly impact the scalability of Atlan’s go-to-market strategy by empowering partner teams to drive adoption without direct Atlan involvement, making you a critical force multiplier in closing the AI value chasm for global enterprises.
  • • Day to day, you will evangelize the context layer by acting as the go-to technical voice for partners on how Atlan enables AI-ready data and enterprise governance across modern data stacks; build joint solutions by co-designing repeatable reference architectures and demos (e.g., AI-ready data on Snowflake + Atlan, AI governance on Databricks + Atlan) using hands-on work with REST APIs, SQL, dbt, and partner-native AI services like Cortex; enable partner technical teams by designing and delivering onboarding, training, and certification programs so partner SEs can independently position, demo, and validate Atlan; drive opportunity creation by running partner-facing demos, discovery sessions, and POV workshops tied to high-priority AI initiatives such as AI copilots, talk-to-data, and AI governance; and feed back into product by bringing partner and field insights into roadmap conversations to help prioritize integrations that cement Atlan as the default governance layer across the ecosystem.
  • • You will join a global, remote-first team of builders at Atlan, a company trusted by industry leaders including Mastercard, Workday, General Motors, Unilever, Ralph Lauren, FOX, Nasdaq, and Medtronic, and backed by top-tier investors such as GIC, Insight Partners, Meritech, Peak XV, and Salesforce Ventures. The team operates with high trust, asynchronous communication, and a deep commitment to AI-native practices, where AI is not an add-on but woven into how work is done every day to accelerate impact and innovation.
  • • In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of AI-ready data infrastructure by influencing product roadmap through real-world partner feedback, mastering cutting-edge integrations across the modern data and AI stack, and scaling your impact through systems thinking — building automations, agents, and reusable assets that enable 50+ partner SEs to succeed without your direct involvement. You will grow your expertise in AI governance, semantic layers, active metadata, and LLM use cases while working on complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles alongside cloud providers and systems integrators.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture with proven success in partner or ecosystem roles involving cloud providers, ISVs, or systems integrators
  • • Hands-on expertise with the modern data stack (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery/Redshift, dbt, BI tools) and a strong understanding of how it evolves for AI and LLM use cases, including concepts like RAG, semantic layers, active metadata, AI governance, and context layers
  • • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and REST APIs to build integrations, proof-of-concepts, and solution patterns, combined with a demonstrated habit of using AI to build, automate, and scale workflows — not just for communication
