đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer at Docker Inc., you will be instrumental in driving the adoption and integration of Docker's cutting-edge technologies across a diverse and strategic partner ecosystem. This high-impact role is central to enabling our Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), Systems Integrators (SIs), and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to successfully leverage Docker's platform, thereby expanding our market reach and fostering deeper technical collaborations.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive and scalable enablement programs. This includes crafting technical learning paths, defining certification criteria, and potentially utilizing platforms like MindTickle to ensure partners have the knowledge and skills necessary to integrate and champion Docker solutions. You will also conduct personalized, in-depth technical enablement sessions for key strategic partners, encompassing workshops, detailed roadmap discussions, technical deep-dives, and potentially representing Docker at speaking engagements.
  • • You will act as the trusted technical advisor for partners, guiding them through the complexities of integrating Docker into their existing service offerings, product stacks, and customer solutions. This involves understanding their unique technical challenges and architecting solutions that align with Docker's capabilities and partner objectives.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves supporting joint Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies. You will collaborate closely with both partner and Docker sales teams to drive joint account planning, identify and nurture co-selling opportunities, and provide crucial technical validation during joint sales engagements. Your expertise will be vital in clearly articulating product positioning and ensuring partners understand what is Generally Available (GA) and ready for delivery, effectively supporting both “sell-with” and “sell-through” partner models.
  • • You will be a key liaison between our partners and Docker's internal Product and Engineering teams. This includes facilitating roadmap alignment, encouraging partner participation in beta and Early Access Programs (EAP), and driving technical integrations with CSPs and ISVs. Furthermore, you will serve as a strong advocate for partner-driven feature requests and co-building initiatives, channeling valuable partner feedback back to the product team to influence future development.
  • • Collaboration with regional Field Solutions Engineers (FSEs) is essential to ensure that our partner enablement and GTM strategies are aligned with market-specific requirements and vertical priorities, particularly within North America (e.g., Federal Government, State, Local, and Education sectors). You will also represent the technical needs and priorities of these regional partners in internal planning discussions, ensuring their voices are heard and addressed.
  • • As a technical leader, you will be responsible for authoring and maintaining a library of reusable technical content. This includes creating integration guides, architectural diagrams, and enablement videos specifically tailored for our partner audience. Your role will also involve representing Docker as a technical expert and evangelist at partner events, industry conferences, and webinars, showcasing the value and innovation of Docker's solutions.
  • • This role demands a proactive approach to understanding and addressing the evolving needs of the partner ecosystem, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver exceptional value to their customers using Docker technologies. You will contribute to the overall success of Docker by building strong, technically proficient partnerships that drive mutual growth and innovation.
