- • As a Senior Partnerships Manager at Deel, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s global ecosystem by identifying, acquiring, and nurturing strategic partnerships across banking, accounting, and technology verticals in North America. This role is critical to Deel’s mission of enabling seamless global work, as partnerships unlock new market opportunities, accelerate customer acquisition, and enhance the platform’s value proposition through integrated solutions.
- • You will own the full partnership lifecycle—from prospecting and discovery to negotiation, closing, and activation—while simultaneously growing and optimizing an existing portfolio of partners to drive measurable pipeline, revenue, and co-sell opportunities. Success in this role directly contributes to Deel’s rapid growth trajectory, helping the company scale its impact in serving global teams across 150+ countries.
- • You will join a high-performing, globally distributed Partnerships team within Deel’s Go-to-Market organization, collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, Enablement, and RevOps to align partner strategies with broader business objectives. The team operates with a culture of autonomy, innovation, and data-driven decision-making, reflecting Deel’s reputation as one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in history.
- • This role offers significant professional growth, allowing you to deepen your expertise in strategic partnership development, GTM execution, and enterprise sales motion within a high-velocity, AI-enabled environment. You will gain exposure to complex, cross-border business models and develop leadership skills that position you as a key player in shaping the future of global work infrastructure.
- • Build and manage a pipeline of high-priority strategic partners across banking, accounting, and technology verticals, prioritizing opportunities based on strategic fit and revenue potential.
- • Own the full partnership lifecycle: prospecting, discovery, business case development, negotiation, closing, and activation, ensuring seamless transition to co-sell and implementation phases.
- • Engage and multi-thread with senior stakeholders (VP, C-suite, and director-level) across partner organizations to build trust, align objectives, and drive executive sponsorship.
- • Qualify and prioritize inbound and outbound opportunities using structured frameworks, focusing on GTM potential, technical compatibility, and long-term strategic value.
- • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic partners, driving engagement, activation, referral generation, and sourced pipeline through consistent outreach, joint planning, and performance tracking.
- • Develop and execute detailed account plans, including stakeholder mapping, quarterly business reviews, and co-marketing/co-selling initiatives to unlock expansion opportunities.
- • Drive co-selling motions, referral programs, and regional GTM collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams to convert partner relationships into qualified opportunities and closed-won deals.
- • Identify under-leveraged or dormant partnerships and design re-engagement strategies to reactivate value through new use cases, product integrations, or joint go-to-market campaigns.
- • Own and report on key partnership metrics including partner acquisition rate, activation timeline, sourced pipeline, SQOs (Sales Qualified Opportunities), referral revenue, and partner-sourced ARR.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Enablement, and RevOps to ensure alignment on messaging, enablement resources, deal registration, and joint event execution.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, sales, or account management within a high-growth SaaS or technology environment.
- • Proven track record of successfully acquiring new strategic partners and expanding existing partner relationships to drive pipeline and revenue.
- • Strong outbound prospecting and partner development skills, with experience initiating and managing complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.
- • Experience managing a diverse portfolio of partners at varying stages of maturity, from early-stage exploration to active co-sell and revenue-generating relationships.
- • Demonstrated ability to exercise commercial judgment in assessing strategic fit, GTM potential, and long-term value of partnership opportunities.
- • Comfortable engaging and influencing senior stakeholders (VP level and above) through clear, persuasive communication and business acumen.
- • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, autonomous environment with minimal supervision.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for technical, business, and executive audiences.
- • Hands-on experience with CRM and sales enablement tools such as Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, HubSpot, PartnerStack, or similar platforms.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Stock grant opportunities tied to role, employment status, and location, offering meaningful equity participation in Deel’s growth.
- • Flexible remote work model with optional access to WeWork spaces for those who prefer hybrid or in-person collaboration.
- • Additional perks and benefits customized based on employment status and country of residence, reflecting Deel’s global, inclusive approach to total rewards.
