- • The Senior Portfolio Monitoring Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of AgLoan’s loan portfolio by monitoring covenant performance, analyzing financial statements, and supporting underwriting decisions for Production Agriculture, Agribusiness, and Capital Markets accounts.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and validating borrowing base certificates and financial covenants, spreading and analyzing financial statements to assess repayment capacity and liquidity, preparing credit reports for underwriters and account officers, and assisting in collateral control activities such as inventory and accounts receivable verification.
- • AgLoan, operating as American AgCredit, is a mission-driven financial institution dedicated to supporting agriculture and rural communities nationwide, fostering innovation, collaboration, and employee growth while delivering transformative financial solutions.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in financial statement analysis, covenant monitoring, and agricultural lending, gain exposure to complex credit structures, and develop independent decision-making skills while contributing to a portfolio that fuels food, fiber, and energy production.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Agribusiness, or related field, or six (6) years of equivalent experience in a similar role
- • Strong analytical and statistical skills to validate, evaluate, and prioritize financial data in various formats
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- • Demonstrated familiarity with accounting principles, banking policies, and financial statement analysis
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey financial insights to underwriters, account officers, and teams
- • Self-starting attitude with exceptional attention to detail, organization, and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment
