- • As a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer at Pure Storage, you will drive innovation in the data storage industry by understanding customer challenges and tailoring Everpure solutions to meet their specific needs, playing a crucial role in the sales process as a technical expert.
- • Day to day, you will develop an exhaustive understanding of customer business drivers, connect technology solutions to measurable business outcomes, partner with account managers and channel partners to create seamless customer experiences, lead evaluations and benchmarks, build and deliver technical presentations, capture and translate customer requirements into innovative solutions, and stay current with competitive landscapes to promote thought leadership.
- • You will join a dynamic team at Pure Storage, a leader in data storage and flash technology, where you’ll collaborate with sales, product, and technical marketing teams to drive revenue growth and net new business while living the company values of Persistence, Creativity, Teamwork, Ownership, and Customer-first.
- • In this role, you can expect to deepen your expertise in enterprise storage architectures, cloud-native technologies, and competitive solution positioning, while growing your leadership in technical sales, solution design, and customer engagement—positioning you as a trusted advisor in the data storage ecosystem.
🎯 Requirements
- • Pre-sales experience is required
- • 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications, with preference for experience supporting enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software sales to enterprise accounts
- • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions architecture, design, and installation/configuration of distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory, storage subsystems, shared memory, cache, and windowing systems
- • Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN) and prior experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments
- • Strong knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native, On-Prem, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers, including familiarity with VMware, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking
- • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is a plus
