- • As a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer at Pure Storage, you will drive innovation in the data storage industry by understanding customer challenges and tailoring Everpure solutions to meet their specific needs, acting as a technical expert during the sales process to showcase product value and support revenue growth.
- • Day to day, you will develop deep insights into customer business drivers, connect technology solutions to measurable outcomes, partner with account managers and channel partners to create seamless customer experiences, lead evaluations and benchmarks, build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations, capture and translate business needs into innovative solutions, spur interoperability and performance testing, promote roadmap exchanges, liaise with product and technical marketing on materials like whitepapers and webinars, stay current with competitive landscapes to promote thought leadership, and embody Everpure’s values of Persistence, Creativity, Teamwork, Ownership, and Customer-first.
- • You will join a dynamic team at Pure Storage (formerly Everpure), a leader in data storage and flash technology, where you’ll work alongside the smartest team in the industry to reshape the data storage landscape with innovative thinking and world-changing impact.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in storage architectures, cloud-native technologies, and enterprise sales processes, while developing leadership in technical solution design, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration—positioning you to grow as a trusted advisor and thought leader in enterprise data storage.
🎯 Requirements
- • Pre-sales experience is required
- • 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications, with preference for experience supporting enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software sales to enterprise accounts
- • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solution architecture, design, and implementation
- • Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN)
- • Previous experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments
- • Strong knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native, On-Prem, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers
- • Familiarity with VMware, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking
- • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures (a plus)
- • Familiarity with storage-intensive applications such as structured databases (SQL, Oracle) (highly desirable)
- • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
