- • As a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer at Pure Storage, you will drive innovation in the data storage industry by understanding customer challenges and tailoring Everpure solutions to meet their specific business needs, acting as a technical expert during the sales process to showcase product value and support revenue growth.
- • Day to day, you will develop deep insights into customer motivations, connect technology solutions to measurable business outcomes, partner with account managers and channel partners to create seamless customer experiences, lead technical evaluations and benchmarks, deliver compelling product and architecture presentations, capture and translate customer requirements into innovative solutions, and stay ahead of competitive trends to promote thought leadership.
- • You will join a dynamic, industry-leading team at Pure Storage (formerly Everpure), a pioneer in flash and data storage technology, where innovation, persistence, creativity, teamwork, ownership, and customer-first values are lived daily, and where you’ll collaborate with smart, motivated professionals reshaping how enterprises store and manage data.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise storage architectures, cloud-native technologies, and multi-tiered systems, sharpen your ability to translate technical capabilities into business value, lead high-impact RFP/RFI responses, and grow as a trusted technical advisor and thought leader in storage, networking, and emerging technologies like containers and microservices.
🎯 Requirements
- • Pre-sales experience is required
- • 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications, with preference for experience supporting enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software sales to enterprise accounts
- • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing architectures, design, and implementation
- • Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN)
- • Familiarity with Linux, NFS file systems, and distributed network environments
- • Strong knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native, On-Prem, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers
- • Knowledge of VMware, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking
- • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures (a plus)
- • Familiarity with storage-intensive applications such as SQL, Oracle databases (highly desirable)
- • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
