- • As a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer for Everpure Protect at Pure Storage, you will drive innovation in cyber resilience by understanding customer challenges and tailoring technical solutions that exceed expectations, directly impacting revenue growth and market positioning in a high-growth emerging business.
- • Day to day, you will develop deep customer insights, lead technical evaluations and benchmarks, design and deliver architecture presentations, translate business needs into solutions, partner with sales and channel teams, manage RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, stay current on competitive landscapes, and promote thought leadership through technical materials and roadmap exchanges.
- • You will join a smart, collaborative team at Pure Storage — a leader in data storage and flash technology — operating within a Pod model focused on Everpure Protect, where technical excellence, customer-first values, and cross-functional alignment drive success in the cyber resilience space.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in disaster recovery, cyber resilience, multi-cloud architectures, and enterprise sales engineering; sharpen your ability to connect technology to business outcomes; and grow as a technical leader and trusted advisor shaping customer strategy and product positioning.
🎯 Requirements
- • Pre-sales experience is required
- • 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, or communications, with preference for enterprise software, SaaS, storage, or cloud sales to enterprise accounts
- • Deep understanding of multi-tiered Cyber Resilience and Disaster Recovery solution architecture, design, and implementation
- • Working knowledge of VMware (vCenter, ESX, virtualized storage/networking) and applications like Active Directory, DNS, Layer 2/3 networking
- • Experience contributing to or leading RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
- • Strong focus on accelerating PoCs to move pipeline from validation to deal close
- • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
- • Curiosity and passion for explaining new technology platforms to customers
