- • As a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer in the SLED market, you will drive innovation by crafting technical solutions that exceed customer expectations and directly contribute to reshaping the data storage industry.
- • Day to day, you will develop deep customer insights, design storage solutions aligned with business outcomes, lead technical evaluations and benchmarks, deliver compelling architecture presentations, capture requirements for RFPs/RFIs, and collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to drive revenue growth.
- • You will join Pure Storage, a leader in flash and data storage technology, working within a dynamic, values-driven team focused on persistence, creativity, teamwork, ownership, and customer-first principles in the SLED (State, Local, Education) vertical.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise storage architectures, cloud-native technologies, and multi-cloud environments while becoming a trusted technical advisor who influences customer decisions and promotes thought leadership across the organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Pre-sales experience is required
- • 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, or communications, with preference for enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software sales to enterprise accounts
- • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solution architecture, design, and implementation
- • Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN)
- • Familiarity with modern web architecture (LAMP, scale-out vs scale-up, AWS well-architected, microservices) is a plus
- • Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and distributed network environments
- • Strong knowledge of VMware, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking
- • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is a plus
- • Knowledge of storage-intensive applications (e.g., SQL, Oracle databases) is highly desirable
- • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
