- ā¢ Own the end-to-end problem space for Mollieās Wallet and Bank Interactions teams, setting independent roadmaps aligned with long-term strategic objectives to support Mollieās ambition to become a bank.
- ā¢ Lead the execution of high-stakes initiatives including the migration of all core accounting flows to the new Wallet system and the delivery of Mollieās new banking platform in close collaboration with the Business Banking domain.
- ā¢ Play a central role in architectural design and delivery efforts critical to obtaining a banking licence, establishing direct connectivity to the European Central Bank (ECB), and scaling transaction volume capacity.
- ā¢ Serve as the primary owner of communication and alignment across the Financial Services domain, influencing peers and executive leadership through expertise and data-driven narratives.
- ā¢ Drive the evolution of Product Delivery practices and ways of working, mentoring junior team members to enhance their technical and delivery capabilities.
- ā¢ Translate complex technical conceptsāsuch as ledgers, settlements, accounting flows, and banking infrastructureāinto clear, compelling stories that secure buy-in from non-technical stakeholders and senior executives.
- ā¢ Independently identify critical problems and opportunities within Wallet and Bank Interactions, without relying on predefined plans, and make decisive, high-impact recommendations to senior leadership.
- ā¢ Manage the delivery of technically complex, long-running initiatives including platform migrations and system decoupling efforts, ensuring precision, scalability, and alignment with regulatory requirements.
- ā¢ Act as the key liaison between engineering, product, and business teams to resolve cross-functional blockers swiftly and assertively, without waiting for full consensus.
- ā¢ Contribute meaningfully to technical direction by leveraging a strong foundation in software engineering or solutions architecture to challenge and refine architectural decisions.
- ā¢ Embed AI-driven workflows into delivery processes to accelerate shipping, simplify work, and improve decision-making across both teams, in alignment with Mollieās āAlways Be Shippingā philosophy.
- ā¢ Support Mollieās growth culture by actively participating in performance reviews, career development discussions, and internal mobility opportunities to shape your own trajectory.
šÆ Requirements
- ā¢ Strong track record in Product Delivery Management or Technical Product Management within fintech or payments
- ā¢ Strong technical foundation from software engineering or solutions architecture background
- ā¢ Working understanding of money movement systems including ledgers, settlements, accounting flows, and banking infrastructure
- ā¢ Proven experience owning complex, long-running initiatives such as platform migrations or system decoupling
- ā¢ Ability to resolve cross-team issues quickly and assertively without waiting for full consensus
- ā¢ Ability to translate deeply technical topics into clear narratives to secure executive buy-in
